About Dr. Gabbay
Dr. Mona Gabbay is a physician whose practice is devoted entirely to the care of breastfeeding mothers and babies. After graduating from Princeton University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, she completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. With an interest in Women's Health, Dr. Gabbay realized the need for a practice dedicated to breastfeeding mothers and in 2001, started the first Breastfeeding Medicine practice in New York. Dr. Gabbay works closely with Lactation Consultants, Midwives, Obstetricians, Pediatricians and other health care providers. She continues to perform home visits in the New York City area.
